One person died and two sustained burn injuries in a cylinder blast in Bandipora district on Thursday.
The house in which the blast took place was also damaged, sources said.
They said a gas cylinder blast took place inside the house of one Mohammad Shafi resulting in on spot death of a person and injuries to two others in village Kudura of Bandipora in north Kashmir.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The deceased was identified as Sajad Ahmad Khan, they said.
